The rat symbolises diligence and fortune; it is bright and ingenious and can find a solution for every situation. Otherwise, it would not have become the first animal in the Chinese zodiac. In human dwellings, this enterprising little animal can do a lot of damage. On the other hand, it is also a fairy-tale hero bringing a lot of fun. Sculpture of Jules the Rat , made with fine white porcelain and hand-decorated with gold or platinum, is another small piece from the workshop of Atelier JM Lesov’s master sculptor Kamil Ježek.
