The representative table set, part of the equipment of the Prague Castle, was made in 1999 for the first President of the new Czech Republic, Václav Havel, according to the design of the academic sculptor Jiří Laštovička. The design emphasized mainly the high level of craftsmanship, top quality of used materials, original shape and precise decorations. The manual production of such demanding porcelain is a mysterious secret, performed only by a few manufactures in the world. In addition to Prague Castle, the Presidential set is also used at Chateau Lány, the Spanish and Romanian royal palaces, in many embassies, and at other prestigious locations, for instance, Šarlota Resort www.sarlotaresort.cz.
